We are seeking a diligent and detail-oriented VP Technical to join our dynamic team in Lisbon, within the Technical Department, reporting directly to the Head of Technical.
Conduct a comprehensive pre-purchase technical review of engines and APUs, including forecasting estimated run time, assessing hardware condition through prior shop visit reports, borescope videos and reports, trend monitoring, and evaluating the engine value based on installed materials.
Oversee fleet powerplant topics, ranging from workscope review, shop visit management and oversight, AD compliance and/or AD effectivity to maintenance claims technical review.
Support powerplant topics during aircraft deliveries and redeliveries.
Support procurement team with material planning for engine and APU shop visits.
Support procurement team to manage the fleet material surplus and engine movements.
Assist in the development of Technical Department processes.

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Aeronautics (preferred).
1-2 years’ experience within an aircraft engine technical management role.
Experience in aircraft leasing.
Detailed understanding of technical documentation and maintenance record-keeping principles.
Strong organizational and project management skills.
Competency in Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
Fluent in English (spoken and written).
Ability to work effectively and resourcefully under pressure.
Flexibility and willingness to travel internationally.
Entitled to work in the EU.
Autonomous and proactive.
Depth and breadth of technical understanding — narrow- and wide-body aircraft experience preferred.
Experience with contract development and negotiations, particularly aircraft lease contracts.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Strong communication skills to interact with global team members.
Familiarity with Box Drive and Microsoft Teams.
