Shoro Ryu joins WSA as SVP Business Development and Aircraft Trading

Shoro Ryu, a seasoned professional in the aviation industry, has recently been appointed as the Senior Vice President of Business Development and Aircraft Trading at World Star Aviation, effective April 1, 2023.
 
With her extensive experience in the aviation industry, Shoro has held several key positions throughout her career, with a particular focus on the mid-life and older aircraft sector. Prior to her role at World Star, Shoro served as the Senior Vice President of Business Development and Aircraft Trading at Arena Aviation Capital, where she was responsible for originating and executing aircraft leasing deals and remarketing end-of-lease assets. Before her tenure at Arena, Shoro was the Director of Business Development at Vallair Solutions, where she played an integral role in the structuring and origination of aircraft trading, part-out and passenger-to-freighter conversion projects. Shoro began her career at Marubeni Corporation Aerospace Department in Tokyo, Japan, where she focused on airline marketing in the Japanese and Asian aviation markets.
