SPRITE 2026-1: Named Overall Deal of the Year – Americas at the 2026 Aviation 100 Awards

World Star Aviation is pleased to announce that SPRITE 2026-1, its $495 million, three-tranche aircraft ABS, has been named Overall Deal of the Year – Americas at the 2026 Aviation 100 Americas Awards. The awards were presented by Airline Economics at its gala dinner at the Metropolitan Club in New York on 21 October.

Priced in February, the heavily oversubscribed transaction is backed predominantly by the latest generation of narrowbody freighters and was, without a doubt, a groundbreaking deal: the first 144A cargo ABS, with a number of innovative structural features.

This recognition further demonstrates WSA’s ability to access capital markets efficiently while delivering innovative and high-quality structures to investors, and reflects the growing confidence in the freighter asset class.
